Important Thanksgiving Break Reminder: Submit Your Cadet's Leave Plans

Dear Parents,

With Thanksgiving break approaching quickly, we want to remind you to submit your cadet’s leave plans in Orah as soon as possible. Currently, only 50% of our boarding students have submitted their Thanksgiving Break Leave plans. Fork Union Military Academy requires all cadet plans to be finalized two weeks in advance to ensure a smooth and efficient departure process.

Important Deadlines:

• Leave Request Submission: The deadline to submit your cadet’s Leave Request in Orah for Thanksgiving Break is November 1. Please ensure that you submit this request before the deadline.
• FUMA Transportation Requests: For families requiring FUMA Transportation, we have extended the deadline to November 4. Any requests received after this date may incur a $10 per day late fee, and transportation availability cannot be guaranteed.
  • Please note, FUMA Transportation is if you need your son transported off or to campus by Fork Union Military Academy.
