All cadets who live on campus will need a Leave Request submitted in Orah by Wednesday, December 14. This includes the PG Football team. All Leave Requests require a return date. PG Football parents will need to select any return date to submit their Orah request.
For Christmas Break, cadets are allowed to leave on Friday, Dec. 16 at 12:30 PM. All cadets must return by 7:00 PM on Monday, Jan. 2. Any cadet who leaves prior to the allowed time or arrives after the required time will be written up.
The deadline to order custom school announcements with the school crest (in foil on the front) and graduation products is fast approaching. The senior tankard (mug with school crest on front and senior names on back) is also only available until December 15!

If your cadet does not have his class ring, the deadline to order that and receive it at the class ring ceremony presentation is also December 15.
The deadline to order your son's class ring and get it back for the class ring presentation is fast approaching. The order would need to be placed with at least a $100 deposit by December 15 to make sure it is back in time for the ceremony.

It is time to order your cadet's class ring! A class ring captures the memories of the greatest days of your son's high school years. A custom ring designed exclusively for Fork Union Military Academy is available to all juniors and seniors. Rings will be presented at a Ring Ceremony in the spring where parents will be invited to. On Wednesday, December 6, Collegeboard released the scores for those students who sat for the Fall 2022 PSAT test administration. Mrs. Kelsey Hill, Director of College Placement and Academic Services, created a 12-minute video that helps explain the process for accessing codes, understanding the score report, and where to go from here.

The Admissions Office will make re-enrollment contracts available on SchoolAdmin on Monday, January 2. All current cadets in grades 7th through 11th are eligible to return for the 2023-2024 academic year. We are encouraging all families to re-enroll early to receive a discount of $1,000. If you re-enroll before March 3, you will receive the $1,000 discount.
The deadline to re-enroll for the 2023-2024 academic year is April 30, 2023. If you re-enroll after April 30, there will be a late fee charged per month after the deadline.
Now that we are back from our Thanksgiving Break and entering December, we are approaching the financial aid season for the 2023-2024 academic year. We receive on average 550-600 new applications for admission each year. As these new applications from prospective students for the 2023-2024 academic year are beginning to roll in, we want to make sure that we do our very best to support our current families first. Following a very successful Day of Giving on Founder's Day weekend, Fork Union Military Academy announced the start of the public phase of a fund-raising campaign, "125 for the 125th," in honor of the school's 125th anniversary, which will be observed the weekend of October 13-15, 2023.
