Important Notice: Inclement Weather Advisory for Day Students

Dear Day Student Parents,

With a potential winter storm expected in the Fork Union area, we wanted to share the schedule for the remainder of the week to help with planning.

Wednesday, February 19:

• Normal class day schedule.
• Uniform of the Day: DCUs.

Thursday, February 20:

• The class day will begin at 0900 and end at 1400.
• Day Students must check in by 0845.
• Uniform of the Day: DCUs.

Friday, February 21:

• The class schedule will be determined based on snow accumulation. 
• Uniform of the Day: DCUs.

Given the unpredictable weather, we highly encourage Day Students to stay overnight in the barracks on Wednesday and/or Thursday night to ensure their safety and minimize travel risks. However, if a parent chooses to pick up their cadet at 1400 on either day, no demerits will be issued. 

If your cadet would like to stay overnight, please have them contact his TAC Officer to make arrangements. 

We appreciate your cooperation and will continue to monitor the weather. Please stay safe and let us know if you have any questions.
